Corrections Policy
ESAG Design Hub is a knowledge center dedicated to providing accurate and reliable information across our articles on design, art, and cultural insights. We understand the trust our readers place in us. Maintaining factual integrity stands as a core principle for all content we publish.
We commit to correcting any factual errors promptly and transparently. This policy outlines our procedures for addressing inaccuracies found in our published materials.
Our Commitment to Accuracy
Accuracy is fundamental to the value of ESAG Design Hub. Every article undergoes a review process before publication. Despite our best efforts, occasional mistakes can occur. We are prepared to correct these errors to uphold our standards and serve our audience effectively.
Types of Corrections
- Minor Fixes: These include typographical errors, grammatical mistakes, broken links, or minor phrasing adjustments that do not alter the factual meaning of the content. We correct these without a formal notice.
- Significant Corrections: Factual inaccuracies that affect the reader’s understanding of the content, misrepresent information, or contain incorrect data points fall into this category. These corrections receive a formal notice.
- Retractions: On rare occasions, an article may contain fundamental and pervasive inaccuracies that render the entire piece misleading or false. In such cases, we retract the article.
How Corrections Are Noted
For significant corrections, we append an editor’s note to the end of the affected article. This note clearly states what was corrected, the nature of the error, and the date the correction was made. The original content is updated to reflect the correct information.
If an article is retracted, a prominent notice replaces the original content. This notice explains the reason for the retraction and its date. We strive to maintain transparency in all our correction efforts.
Reporting an Error
Readers can help us maintain accuracy. If you discover an error in any of our articles, please report it to us via email. Include the article title, the direct URL, and a clear description of the error.
Provide the correct information and any supporting evidence if possible. Send your correction reports to: [email protected].
Timeline for Reviewing Reported Errors
Our editorial team reviews all reported errors. We aim to acknowledge receipt of your report within 3 business days. For confirmed errors, minor fixes occur promptly.
Significant corrections are typically implemented within 5-7 business days of confirmation. Retractions require a more extensive review process but are handled with urgency.
Transparency About Correction History
ESAG Design Hub believes in full transparency. Our publicly available articles will feature dated correction notes for all significant changes. This ensures our readers are always aware of any revisions made to the content.
This policy reflects our ongoing dedication to journalistic integrity and reader trust. We continuously strive for excellence in our content.
